As I write this blog about Teja Anderson, creator and founder of Sea You Again jewelry, I realize that I just happen to be wearing a pair of earrings from her cultured glass collection. I bought them at a Red Bank street fair before Teja was a vendor in our store. My overly sensitive earlobes had a love affair with her silver-plated hypo-allergenic ear wires, and after wearing them once and getting several compliments, I knew we had to have her jewelry in our collection.

Wife, mother, and resident of Monmouth Beach, Teja applied her talents to many careers before becoming a jewelry designer, including writing, photography and acting. She lived in New York city for a stint, and has travelled the planet. Teja is very passionate about the environment and wild animals, which probably comes from growing up in Vermont. She rehabilitates orphaned baby cottontail wild rabbits in Monmouth county every baby season (twitter: @bunnyhealer), and has been doing so for over 10 years. She is also closely involved with the Monmouth Conservation Foundation, which has been preserving land and protecting the natural habitat of Monmouth County for over 38 years (

Teja hand makes all of her pieces from sea glass, up-cycled glass, freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones and leather. Her style is a reflection of herself: beautiful, fresh and natural.
