Nancy Ehrlich is Chloe by the Sea Jewelry
Like most of us in the area, Nancy fell in love with the beach when she moved to the shore 25 years ago with her best fur baby, Chloe. Nancy has honored their intrepid adventures together by naming her enterprise 'Chloe by the Sea.'
Taking her cues from animals, nature and the environment, Nancy began creating beach themed jewelry, stringing gemstone beads and pendants for necklaces and bracelets. These items were on offer at her store, and all was well. But life had other plans.
In 2012, Hurricane Sandy hit, and Nancy had to think of new and creative ways to market her business. Ever resilient, she bounced back by adding an online presence. Not stopping there, Nancy held seminars and joined a women's networking group. In her words, "I learned there are always opportunities, you just need to look for them!"
Always loving animals, Nancy has offered her services recently to an animal advocacy group, helping with fundraising. "I'm also vegan and a bit of an eccentric recycler!"
Kudos to Nancy for being a great steward of the environment.
